Rhiannon Morsberger
Yoga Instructor

Rhiannon’s yoga journey began in 2005 while recovering from a dance injury. After reading a book passed down from her mother—the “Yoga Mind and Body” book from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre—she was instantly hooked and experimented with pranayama, meditation, and a sattvic diet. Soon after, she became a regular student at the Yoga Center of Columbia for several years practicing under Anusara & Iyengar lineages. Much of the philosophy hadn't really sunken in until her 200-hr training at Charm City Yoga in Baltimore. Under the tutelage of Kim Manfredi, she finished her training in 2011, and in October 2016 finished her 85-hr prenatal yoga teacher training at YogaWorks Baltimore with Lily Dwyer Begg. What initially started as a journey of physical recovery, and desire to share this practice with fellow dancers/movement artists, soon turned into a lifelong spiritual and emotional journey. As a teacher, Rhiannon is known for her fun, yet nurturing spirit, emphasis on alignment, and ability to cater to individual needs. Her belief is that the practice should be therapeutic and accessible to all who show up. In her prenatal classes, mamas can expect a slow, yet strengthening and grounding asana practice that's suited for a changing body and growing baby -- and may even relieve some of the common aches and pains that come along with those changes!
