Eric Schwarz
Yoga Instructor

An advanced practice means walking away feeling more mindful, subtle, and aware, and that one should not feel worse because one is unable to “do” a pose. Through this philosophy, I provide for my students a positive yoga practice, celebrating body shape, size, gender, age, or any other characteristics that one might narrate as either a limitation or a facilitator to a robust practice. Yoga is an experience enhanced through diversity; there is room on the mat for individuals from all walks of life. In early 2013, I left my job with the federal government to teach yoga full time. Through a combination of breath, functional strength, and alignment, you will establish an open dialogue with yourself, notice the climate of your body as it changes breath to breath, and explore your unique truths and potentials. I am an E-RYT-500 and offer deep gratitude to my teacher, Natasha Rizopolous.

Kristen Krash

Kristen Krash has been a dedicated student of yoga for sixteen years. She began practicing Ashtanga and vigorous vinyasa yoga seeking relief from severe spinal injuries as a result of a car collision and (perhaps sub-consciously) a troubled early life. The early adrenalized years of practice had a galvanizing impact, but the true healing began when Kristen’s curiosity about the the more subtle aspects of asana led her to the exacting alignment and discipline of Iyengar Yoga. She immersed herself in the Iyengar method, the intricacies of asana and pranayama, and the Yoga Sutras by studying consistently with some of the most senior and experienced teachers in the world. Over the years, her own style has naturally evolved into a synthesis of energizing movement and careful pauses, from freedom to form and back. With a gift for intelligent and creative sequencing, she has a knack for breaking down complex postures into do-able parts, and empowering her students with the physical and mental tools they need to move more easily in yoga classes--and in everyday life. Her teaching is no-nonsense and grounded in practicality: how to bring the subtle awareness gained through years of focused study to the beginner, the power yoga student, the injured athlete, the “regular Joe” who just wants to feel better. In 2016, Kristen took leave from her fourteen year post as a full-time yoga teacher to bring a yogic vision to a wider world. She currently lives in Ecuador where she and her partner are building an ecological retreat and sustainable living center.

Crystal Moore
Crystal Moore RYT-500

Crystal Moore RYT-500 started her journey of transformation more than a decade ago when she began practicing yoga in her living room using home videos. The physical changes in her strength and flexibility were matched by profound shifts in attitude, faith, relationships, and spirituality. A former elementary school teacher, Crystal has been teaching children and adults for more than a decade. Crystal understands how humans learn and grow. She brings this knowledge of learners to the yoga mat, where she helps her students embrace their bodies and grow in their power and grace. Acute illness first brought Crystal to her mat; her encounters with the divine keep her coming back. Crystal Moore Yoga is a vehicle for sharing all the joys and benefits of this ancient practice with diverse populations. Its best-known offerings are Community Yoga and Yoga for All classes, which make the practice accessible to students of all abilities, ages, bodies, genders, shapes, and sizes. Crystal completed her initial teacher training Faith Hunter and finished her advanced teacher training with Kimberly Wilson. She has received additional training from Yoga for Arthritis and completed her certification with the Life Coaching Institute of Orange County. May you listen to the still, soft voice within your heart, and have the courage to follow wherever it prompts.
